If you're attending a meditation workshop or retreat for the first time, you probably have some questions about what to expect. Let's take a look at some of the most frequently asked questions people have before they attend their first meditation retreat or workshop.
Will I meditate the whole time?
No! While much of your workshop or retreat will involve meditation, you will not be meditating the entire time. Feel free to ask for a schedule of the retreat or workshop you're considering so you can get a better idea of what to expect.
What will I eat?
You can expect to eat healthy foods that will give you energy and make you feel whole. If you have any dietary limitations or restrictions, please let the us know when you sign up for your retreat or workshop.
What should I pack?
Less is more. Try to stay focused on what you'll be doing while you're at the meditation retreat or workshop, and only pack the essentials. Do your best not to load up on electronics - bringing your phone for occasional use is fine, but the more you can unplug, the better. Remember, this is a time to focus on you.
